As one of the worlds few remaining independent cosmetics companies, Molton Brown is known to most as creators of quixotic body and skin care luxuries. The company was founded in 1973 as an innovative hair-based business with a distinctive anti-artificial philosophy.  Based at 58 South Molton Street, Mayfair, still home to the flagship emporium, their approach went against the grain of the synthetic seventies.  The first Molton Brown products were handmade on site, using natural aromatherapy and plant based ingredients.

In October 2005, Cerrahgil became main distributer of Molton Borwn amenities in Turkey. The venture has resulted in Molton Brown products being distributed to luxury and boutique hotels as well as 6 retail corners in 3 major cities throughout Turkey.
